Cranbury, March 13, 2009 ‐ LG IRIS announced today that it has delivered a complete iris recognition technology platform to Australia’s New South Wales Department of Corrective Services. The state wide systems will be initially used for monitoring the activity of visitors to correctional facilities.

These LG Iris systems will be deployed across New South Wales at all 34 correctional facilities. New South Wales Department of Corrective Services will realize an extremely fast, accurate and reliable system infrastructure to check the identity of people entering their facilities, when connected to the central iris database located in Sydney. The LG Iris Iris Accellerator system can check the identity of individuals in real time.
