Chicago, IL, September 24, 2013– Iris ID Systems Inc., formerly LG Electronics, Iris Technology Division, a leading provider of iris biometric technology, and Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies, announced the IrisAccess® platform iCAM7000 series support of aptiQ readers and cre dentials. Now, using an aptiQ reader, the iCAM 7000 series devices can also support aptiQmobile™ on an NFC-enabled phone as a mobile access control credential. All existing aptiQ smart card readers are compatible with the iCAM 7000 series for applications ranging from physical access systems in buildings to applications that track time and attendance, and other identity dependent applications.

Iris ID will demonstrate mobile credentials using aptiQmobile on a NFC capable smartphone at the ASIS conference, September 24-26, in booth #1422 at the McCormick Place, Chicago , IL.
