The National Sheriffs’ Association 2020 Winter Legislative & Technology Conference is a great place to meet high-level law enforcement leaders from federal agencies, Congress, major county sheriffs and police chiefs and members of the Iris ID team.
The conference will be held Feb. 8-11 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, D.C. Stop by the Iris ID booth, #55, to see much of our biometric product line and learn how it can help improve the effectiveness of law enforcement organizations.
One product we will be showing integrated criminal booking and release system. The addition of iris recognition capabilities to these law enforcement systems will allow for more accurate releases of individuals and for field identifications where officer won’t have to touch an individual. This system is slated for use later this year by major law enforcement departments in the U.S. including the U.S. Marshals Service.

The lightweight, handheld iCAM M300 goes virtually any place with law enforcement officers to enroll and identify people in the field. Now integrated with the Sherlock fingerprint scanner from Integrated Biometrics, the iCAM M300 offers access to the three major modes of biometric authentication – iris, facial and fingerprint. The FBI-certified Sherlock scanner snaps onto the iCAM M300 to simultaneously capture up to two fingerprints. The iCAM M300’s communication protocols include NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G LTE and more. Also included are magstripe and contactless card support, as well as an MRZ reader to verify ePassports.
The Iris ID iCAM R100 series iris readers are completely integrated with AssetTracer smart lockers and KeyTracer key management cabinets from Real Time Networks. Iris readers replace PINs, access control cards and RFID fobs to lock and unlock modular units protecting keys, weapons, evidence and other valuable assets stored by law enforcement organizations.
