Cranbury, N.J. USA – March 14, 2022 – Iris ID, for more than 20 years the global leader in iris recognition technology, will showcase two new readers – the iCAM D2000 and IrisBar – at ISC West, March 23-25 at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas. The two devices are compact touchless readers that accurately identify people through advanced multi-modal biometric technologies. The self-service iCAM D2000 and the IrisBar are ideal at airports and border crossings.

The readers are a new class of fused iris and face identification systems. Two illuminator bars on the iCAM D2000 automatically accommodate dimly lit areas and assist in clear facial recognition. The slim, compact IrisBar uses a high-power infrared LCD to illuminate biometric capture. Both devices feature automatic height adjustment and security countermeasures.

“These fast and flexible readers provide effective solutions for travel and other access control identification requirements,” said Mohammed Murad, vice president for Iris ID. “Sites around the world can have high-quality and accurate biometric authentication in a quick self-service manner that provides an unparalleled authentication experience.”

The iCAM D2000 offers mounting options for speed gates, kiosks, desks and other locations, while the IrisBar is designed for use in kiosks. The IrisBar offers a customizable interactive LCD and an internal speaker to guide users through the identification process with visual and audio prompts. The iCAM D2000 reader also bridges legacy and future solutions by seamlessly integrating with other identity authentication systems.

“The days of a slow, repetitive identification process are over for facilities using the iCAM D2000 and IrisBar,” said Murad
