Training
Iris ID regularly offers several options for learning about our technology and products; such as hands-on training at our Cranbury, NJ facility, on-line web-based training (Webinars), and custom On-site training classes.
Iris Recognition Training at Iris ID (Cranbury NJ Office)
Iris ID regularly offers real-time, hands on training provided by the Technical Services Team located in our Cranbury NJ facility. Advanced reservations (at least two weeks prior to our regularly scheduled training sessions) are required. Reserving a spot earlier than two weeks is recommended, as seats are limited.

It may be possible to cater your training experience with specific information and content that meets the exact criteria for your training needs. Please note that in order to have a specialized training class agenda created the trainee must sign-up for training as early as possible. Additionally, specific information about what the trainee desires in the class will need to be provided to Iris ID. (Specialized training classes are not guaranteed as time constraints and the number of enrolled students in a class my influence this option.) Currently, the following training sessions are planned:

Scheduling Options
  • 1 Day (abridged) IrisAccess EAC based Technical Training
  • 2 Day (Full) Iris Access EAC based Technical Training
  • 2 Hour Smart Card / Prox Card Training (To be offered only as an addition to either an IrisAccess EAC training class)
  • 1/2 Day practical hands-on interactive lab (to only be offered only as an addition to another training class)

The training class workshops run from 9am - 4:30pm Eastern Time.

NOTE: Training sessions are made available in up to three day blocks. Although trainees are encouraged to attend all of the offered subjects, the trainee can choose to only attend a specific day or class that they have an interest in learning. Additionally, if a trainee chooses to attend only part of a full day training schedule, no additional or specific provisions can be provided to that individual.
2014 Scheduling for Training in Our Facility (Cranbury, NJ)
Training classes for 2014 are offered at the Iris ID Systems offices located in Cranbury, NJ. Please see below for a list of scheduled training classes currently available.

For training session inquiries, please contact the Technical Services Support Group via email at: techsupport@irisid.com. Training classes are available to authorized partners and re-sellers of Iris ID.

Training are made available at our in-house office training facility in Cranbury, NJ. Additionally, training can be provided directly to end-user customers with proper approval from both Iris ID and the partner/re-seller.

Enrollment Fee(s)
For Partners
Iris ID charges $100/ per person (per course) to our partners for training at our facility. This helps defray the cost of course materials (provided to the participant to take home), and the continental breakfasts and lunches we provide. Attendees are responsible for all other expenses, including travel, hotel and dinner.

For Non-Partners
Non-partners may inquire about training classes via email at: techsupport@irisid.com for pricing and availability. If you are not a partner, charges for training (per person) are subject to change at anytime, and may often not reflect partner discounted training rates. Priority placement for Iris ID Partners is given prior to placement of a non-partner in any of our scheduled training classes.
Steps for Enrollment
  1. Send a registration/enrollment request by following the link. click here.
  2. Provide the desired subject(s) that you wish to have for training.
  3. Provide the scheduled date(s) you wish to attend.
  4. Provide the name of all attendees (include email address, phone number, and company affiliation)
  5. Wait for availability confirmation from Iris ID (usually provided within 24 hours in the form of either an email and/or phone call).
  6. Provide Payment once confirmation approval of training has been issued by Iris ID. (Payment instructions are listed below)
  7. A registration and payment confirmation will be sent prior to training. (Only individuals that have been confirmed enrollment and have paid for the training will be able to attend).
Payment for Training can be made in one or two ways
  1. To pay by credit card use Credit Card Authorization Form (download) and fax it to 609-819-4736 or email to techsupport@irisid.com
  2. A Purchase Order covering the $100.00 per person (per class) Training Enrollment Fee to can be either be faxed to 609-819-4736, or sent by email to techsupport@irisid.com, with the line item: "IrisAccess Training- $100.00" for each person attending. Please include a PO reference Number in the covering correspondence.

Iris Recognition Training on the Web
Iris ID invites you to join our team for an informative webinar on topics related to our IrisAccess® system. We will share insights on the basics of Iris ID Recognition, system standards, setup and operation, use of smart cards, and how Iris Recognition is deployed in government programs. You will learn about major IrisAccess deployments and how they are being used around the world.

In this 40 minute online seminar you will:

  • Become familiar with all the IrisAccess 7000 Products
  • Know how to connect Iris ID to any Access Control System
  • Be able to design and configure a solution with smart cards
  • Learn about smart card configuration and use
  • Understand how to quote and order system components

Iris Recognition Training at a Customer or Integrator's Facility
Iris ID frequently conducts training sessions at a partner or end-user facility. These are not provided "free of charge" as are the sessions we conduct in our own facility.
